my kid love his bike now hi enjoy rides with me
Gears 1-3 are very smooth so it tends to make a clicking sound. I think it has to do with the length of the chain like others have mentioned. Going to take it to my local bike shop to make some adjustments.
Kids love the bike, it’s lightweight and shifts well. Super fun bike!
Overall this seems like a good bike and my daughter loves it. Only two issues I've run into: 1. The chain line is really bad in gears 1 and even 2. I guess this is a repercussion of the short chain stay and the wide tires. We've had some difficulty fine tuning the derailleur and even when shifting well it is noisy because of the strained chain line. 2. The bike is 2 lbs heavier than list. I weighted it at 24.5 lbs. There were other bikes in that weight category, and I chose this bike because of its lower weight. That said, it rides well and is still lighter than average. Big tires at insanely low PSI really is the poor man's suspension and better than a cheap heavy fork. The price of this bike is very reasonable. Mechanical disc is not as good as hydraulic, but still a big improvement over V-brakes and I'm satisfied.
