The Tadpole Mini is a great first bike which helps the child to achieve the necessary balance to cycle. The Tadpole Mini is suitable for children aged 1 and 2 with a minimum inside leg of 9.5" (24cm).

Assembly
All Frog Tadpole Balance Bikes bikes arrive 95% assembled. All you need to do is install the seat post, handlebars and front wheel.
Our professional bike technician looks over every bike before it ships and switches the hand brake to be standard for the US (rear on the right).

The Frog is an excellent bike, and Ready Set Pedal was fantastic- went above and beyond, got the bike out a bit early, great communication, etc- couldn't recommend highly enough.

I got this last year when RSP was the only place that I could find that had them in stock. After about an hour with the balance buddy attached, stretched out over three short trips, he was riding by himself for the first time yesterday. He loves it, and the customer service was excellent. I don't typically spend this type of money on something that I know he will grow out of sooner than later but I felt it was worth it to make learning easier and not discourage him from wanting to continue with it. It worked out, I am very happy with the purchase.

Awesome Bike
My almost 6 yr old is having a blast on his first geared bike. It didn’t take him long at all to figure out how and when to shift and he is pleased as punch that he can go faster with less effort. We took it to a bike shop to get the brakes adjusted and make sure it was good to go after putting it together and the bike shop guy was impressed with the quality as well.
