  1. What makes Woom bikes unique compared to other kids' bikes?
    Woom bikes are designed specifically for children, focusing on lightweight frames, child-appropriate ergonomics, and high-quality components. Their design ensures easier learning, better control, and a more enjoyable riding experience for kids.
  1. At what age can my child start riding a Woom bike?
    Woom offers balance bikes for children as young as 18 months up to teenagers. The Woom 1 balance bike is suitable for children starting around 18 months, and the sizing goes up to Woom 6, which is designed for children around 10 to 14 years old, depending on their height and comfort level.

  2. Can you install training wheels on a woom bike?
    Woom doesn’t support training wheels for their  bikes because we don’t believe training wheels are beneficial; in fact, we’ve found that training wheels are counterproductive to a child’s learning experience. The trials and tribulations of generations past have shown us that training wheels teach all the wrong things and that there are much simpler, better ways to start out.

    The most important factor in choosing the right size is your child's inseam measurement and height. Ready, Set, Pedal provides a detailed size chart that matches these measurements to the appropriate bike size, ensuring a comfortable and safe riding experience.

    Woom bikes can be purchased directly from Ready, Set, Pedal. Ready, Set, Pedal completes a safety-check and honors all manufactures warranty. Further, we do not make money on shipping and pass our low shipping rates directly to you. Prices vary depending on the model and size of the bike, generally ranging from around $200 to $700 or more for specialized models.

  2. Where are Woom bikes made? 
    Woom bikes are produced in partnership with factories in several countries, with a focus on manufacturing bikes for the European market within Europe. They have a warehouse in Austin and can be viewed at Ready, Set, Pedal showroom in Denver by appointment.

  3. How much do Woom bikes weigh? Woom bikes are known for being very lightweight. Weights range from 3 kilograms for the Woom 1 to 12.8 kilograms for the Woom Now 6.

  4. Are Woom bikes good for beginners? Yes, Woom bikes are a great choice for beginner riders. Their lightweight design and comfortable ergonomics make them easy for kids to handle and control.
