Key differences between the Strider models

Strider Bikes offers several models of balance bikes, each designed to cater to different age ranges and skill levels. Here are some key differences between some of the popular Strider Bike models:

  1. Strider 12 Classic: The Strider 12 Classic is the original model and is suitable for children aged 18 months to 3 years. It features a simple design with a lightweight frame, no pedals, and no brake. It has a seat height range of 11 to 16 inches and is a great option for young toddlers to learn balance and coordination.

  2. Strider 12 Sport: The Strider 12 Sport is an upgraded version of the Classic model. It is designed for children aged 18 months to 5 years. It features a slightly adjustable seat height range of 11 to 19 inches, allowing for a longer usage period. The Sport model also includes a padded seat, improved handlebar grips, and a mini-grip handlebar for parents to assist in steering.

  3. Strider 14x Sport: The Strider 14x Sport is a unique model that can be converted from a balance bike into a pedal bike. It is designed for children aged 3 to 7 years. It features a larger 14-inch frame, a seat height range of 16 to 22 inches, and a removable pedal kit. This allows children to transition from a balance bike to a pedal bike without needing to switch to a different bicycle.

  4. Strider 20 Sport: The Strider 20 Sport is designed for older children aged 8 and beyond who may be learning to ride for the first time or improving their skills.  It was designed with a low stand-over-height, giving it a low center of gravity, making it ultra-stable to teach balance first. The bike also has dual drum handbrakes and a kickstand.

These are just a few examples of the Strider Bikes models available. It's important to consider your child's age, size, and skill level when selecting the most appropriate model. Additionally, always follow the manufacturer's guidelines and recommendations for each specific model.
