It is a high-quality bike for my eight-year-old that makes it hard for me to catch up with him!
We were looking for a bike for our son and couldn’t find any locally. An online search led us to Ready, Set, Pedal. Their breadth of high quality products for kids was great- but most importantly, they had what we were looking for. Unsure about making a purchase without being able to physically see the bike, or ensure it was the right size for my son, I called the shop. The service was top notch- from speaking about the specific product I asked about and Potential advantages of lower cost alternatives, to explaining how to properly measure my child for the right fit, they covered the bases. They were also clear on timing of delivery and setting expectations. In the end, they underpromised and over delivered. The bike arrived ahead of schedule, required minimal effort to finalize putting together, was the perfect fit, and just what we were looking for. Our experience with Ready, Set, Pedal was wonderful and we highly recommend them!
Great service, any question I had, they responded quickly. Would definitely use them again.
I was looking for a kid’s road bike and found out that there is no many choices. This bike seems ideal for my 7 y.o. daughter. It took some time for her to accommodate to steering of a road bike, but now she’s the fastest girl at her cycling class! Some cons are also present: the bike seems quite heavy for its size A shifter is a bit tough for a little girl to shift
This bike has turned 10 mile rides into 20 mile rides for my 8 year old. During one of our last rides, we traveled 26 miles and I struggled to keep up while he rode over 16mph down the homestretch.
