The Frog 78 features a strong, high quality, lightweight frame, designed specifically for your child's size.   The adjustable Tektro brakes inspire confidence and are easy to adjust for the reach of small hands.   Features an 8-speed Shimano easy-change thumb shifters and an 8 speed cassette hub.  Easily adjusted saddle height and now a shorter crank length of 127mm.  Comes with 2 sets of Kenda tires: a hybrid tire and a more knobby off-road tire. 

Frog bikes are easier to pedal due to a unique crank design from the renowned bicycle engineer Dimitris Katsanis (of Team GB Olympic fame). The new design reduces the Q-factor (the space between the pedals), allowing children to push more directly down when cycling, so converting more of their energy into motion. Only Frog applies this level of rigour to the design of kids’ bikes.

FROG 78 SIZING

* Minimum inseam measurement for a child who is large enough to ride this bike. Beginner Riders must reach the ground comfortably and flat footed while straddling the seat, meaning they require a larger minimum inseam. Experienced Riders will be more comfortable extending to their tip toes when straddling the seat. See How to Measure Your Child's Inseam.
† Standover Height is measured from the top of the top tube to the ground, rising directly from the front of the chainring.

FITTING YOUR RIDER

Getting your kid on the right size bike is important and easy! All you need is:

• RIDER INSEAM =  Your child's inseam, measured from the top of the crotch directly to the ground. (This is NOT a pant leg inseam measurement).
• RIDER EXPERIENCE = Your child's ability, comfort and confidence levels while riding a bike.

With these two pieces of information, you can easily calculate the MINIMUM SEAT HEIGHT your child needs on their new bike.

You have 30 days from receiving your order to initiate your return with us:

• Returns must be in NEW condition with original packaging and product tags.
• You are responsible for packaging and return shipping. You may purchase a return shipping label from us, which is likely your least expensive option with our discounted rates.
• Please take your new bike for a "test ride" to make sure it's right for your Rider! Our standard for still being in new condition after a "test ride" is similar to a local bike shop that offers test rides outside their shop. We understand some "dust on the tires," but please keep it new (and hold on to packaging) until you are sure you're keeping it!
• Your original shipping cost is non-refundable.

WARRANTY

Ready Set Pedal stands behind all products we sell. Most of our brands (including all bikes) offer a limited warranty. We will work directly with the manufacturer (on your behalf) to evaluate and process your warranty claim. If the issue/defect is deemed eligible to be covered under warranty, we work to get you a replacement, repair or refund as quickly as possible. If you're experiencing an issue/defect with an order, please contact us for support.

Frog offers a standard 2 year warranty on all frames, forks, parts and paintwork (excluding tires & inner tubes). Register here for Frog's FREE extended Warranty Plus, which offers a 10 year warranty on frames, handlebars, stems, seat posts, cranks and forks (excluding suspension forks). You must complete and submit the Warranty Plus application form within 28 days of purchase.

Suspension forks come with a standard warranty of 2 years and are not included in the Warranty Plus offer.
